I never had the pleasure of meeting Andy but I worked with his father in the mid-90s when I was in High School. I was digging post holes wearing my tool belt and John was digging trench for a footing on the backhoe. He turns the tractor engine down, looks up, says "Hey! Jake! Look at you! toolbelt on, digging holes. You ought to just go be a plumber." Best advice I never took. I know Andrew must have been off to a roaring start if he had his father´s wit.

I'm home now Andy, so I will be able to visit more often. I can't believe it's been four years, when it seems like just yesterday we were sitting at The Grille and I was making you Valentine's Day cookies.
Each thought I have of you brings a smile to my face. I'll love you forever and miss you for always.

Dear Nancy,
I am writing this note to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts, frequently. You were my P.T. at Back In Action, about 7 years ago. I remember those visits, because a lot of them were spent talking about your family, especially Andy. I remember how your face would light up, when you'd speak of him. You would talk about him and I would talk about my nephew, Seth, who is his age. I enjoyed your stories about him, they were most enjoyable and often helped me keep my mind off of the pain I was enduring. I am so sorry for your loss, Nancy. I felt like I knew Andy, though I had never actually met him. Thank you for your wonderful stories about him, as I will always see the smile on your face in my mind. That smile was so filled with love, that it makes it that much harder to fathom that such a wonderful parent and lady, such as you, has lost such a beautiful child like Andy.

I think about you every day. I still feel such sorrow at just starting to really get to know you. You are my cousin who lived 10 minutes away and yet I might have seen you 3 times a year. The kids table was great...I can't eat green beans without thinking of you. I miss you but look forward to seeing you again

Andy, I can't believe that a year has passed. I miss you so much, everyday. My thoughts and memories of you and the times we had together keep the smile on my face, but I'd trade them all to have you back. My heart will be with you always and I will never forget, but I will always go on missing you, until we meet again.
If tears could build a staircase, and memories a path, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you back.

It has been six months and I still find myself thinking about and crying for a young man that I hadn't gotten the chance to meet. That I only heard about through my daughter. To those of you who knew Andy, I'm sure you know how blessed you are. I wish I was that blessed.

These last few years have been a blast. From partying, to threatening to throw people in the "tiger pit" at the shanty, Hoban was all about having a good time. Never a dull moment when he was around. The smile never left his face, and we never stopped laughing. We all miss him a ton.

Sweet, kind, funny and charming, Andy brings a smile to my face everyday, even now when a smile is so hard to find. Andy entered my world, and left it, so quickly, I wonder if it has just been a dream he was in it at all. He blew me away with his personality and ability to make me laugh in an instant.

Andrew was such a great guy. I work at subway and he would come in quit often. He always brought a smile to our faces, he had such a positive attitude and always made us laufh. I would always look foreward to him comming in. He was someone all of us employees would talk about, because everybody liked him. We all miss you andrew, and you will always be in our hearts...

Andrew is forever in my thoughts and prayers. I knew him from high school and had recently became friends with him over x-mas break. It is a great loss and I am terribly sorry.

Andrew was an amazing person with a wonderful heart and I feel blessed to be able to call him a friend. He has managed to make the lives of so many better just by being himself. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
