BUTTS, CHRISTOPHER, J., 57, of Worcester Avenue, Riverside, died peacefully on March 14, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Exeter, NH, a son of the late George C. and Joyce M. (Mackey) Butts, he lived in Riverside for 44 years. Mr. Butts was a mechanic at the Elmwood Dodge Co. for 30 years. Christopher was a graduate of Barrington High School. He enjoyed motorcycles, automobiles and loved animals. He is survived by a sister, Lynda A. Sampson and her husband Arthur J. Sampson of Tiverton; a brother, Mark C. Butts and his wife Barbara of Canton, MA; a nephew, Alexander Butts of Somerville, MA; two granddaughters, Kailyn Perry and Amiya Whalen; two step-children, Jonathan Richards and Lynn Whalen and his faithful dog, Saphire. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday March 19 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 1:30 p.m. Calling hours are Saturday 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
