David Palmisciano Obituary

PALMISCIANO, DAVID M. 87, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Capitol Ridge Assisted Living, Providence. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Assunta (Santamaria) Palmisciano. Mr. Palmisciano was an owner of General Window Supply, Cranston for many years before his retirement. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. Dave was a founding member of the Alpine Country Club and held the record for the first hole-in-one. He will be fondly remembered by friends and family for his guitar playing at many social gatherings. He is survived by his sister, Ann Tanzi of North Providence and many loving nieces and nephews. He was the devoted brother of the late, John and Carl Palmisciano, Elizabeth Ginolfi and Sylvia Baglini. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 9:30-10:30am in the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Flowers are respectfully omitted. www.marianiandson.com
