Adrianna, Michaela & Kiara,
I want to tell you how very, very proud I am of you. You were so brave at Mommy's bedside and at her service. You have made everyone in our family very proud and I love you all so much. I am always here for you. I know you made your Mommy very proud and she is smiling down on you with all her love and happiness. I know this is a very hard time and it is hard to understand, but know that your Mommy loved you more than anything and we promised her we will keep you three together as sisters. We take our promises very seriously because they come from our hearts and this is one that isn't hard to keep, it's a pleasure to carry out. I love you!

To my second family: I am so sorry for your loss. Dawn was the most wonderful person I have ever known. I always admired her strength, even when we were children. I feel like I have lost a sister and I miss her everyday. I wouldn't be who I am if she hadn't been in my life. My childhood would not have been the same without her and I have so many memories that will always be in my heart. She meant the world to me and I'm so grateful I had 30 years with her. I know God has a very special angel up there with him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love you, Michelle

To all of Dawn's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I only met Dawn a few times when I was in college at RIC. She was good friends with my roommate Michelle. She always made us laugh; and was the sweetest person in the world. I know she will be looking down on all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know she "fought the good fight" and misses you all.

I do not know any of you except for what Dawn told me as we sat together during chemo. She was a beautiful woman who gave me hope when I needed it most. I will never forget her. She spoke often about her beautiful family, particularly her girls. She once gave me a pocketbook that her aunt had made for her. I will cherish it always. May God grant you all peace. There is no doubt that she is in heaven looking down on all of us. She will be missed.
