You were our Brother-in-law, Son-in-law, Uncle and best friend for as long as we care to remember. All these roles you filled with great love and respect for our family. We have experienced such a great loss with your passing and our family will always mourn your absence. You were always a welcome part of all our family celebrations and you will be missed especially by Michael, Frankie, Carissa, Dante and Gianna. Every first day of school will remind them of the loss of their Uncle who was always there for them with Dunkin Donuts and best wishes for the new school year. Their hearts are broken because there are many more occasions that you should have been a part of. Our family will continue to mourn your passing but will always honor the love and special bond that we have in our hearts for you, Eddie. You were the true meaning of family and love and we thank you for being a part of our lives. We will never forget you.

Dear family of Eddie Ferrara,

The finality of the message that I received from this web site moved me to respond. I do not believe in finality. The book will never be closed.

Although I never knew you, I was fortunate to experience Eddie. When we hear of the death of someone that we know personnaly, our initial reaction is to wonder how their death may impact us personnally. With time, we come to grips with the personal impact upon ourselves, and wonder upon the impact to our community.

I knew Eddie as a Brother Sir Knight of the Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus, the Patriotic Degree!

I worked closely with Eddie when he was President of our Council's Club, and I was it's Treasurer. As a result of that experience, I know that Eddie was an honest, very altruistic man when it came to his Council and his friends. How much greater his love for his family was demonstrated, I cannot imagine, but it must be impressive!

I know that I and my Council has lost a lot of love in the person of Eddie.

I am not nominating Eddie for the big S, Sainthood. I know that I don't believe that I deserve the big S either. My prayer is that Eddie and I have earned the little s, sainthood, and that I will be reunited in heaven with him, Jesus, and you so that I may properly be introduced to you.

All my love on your loss, everyone's loss. That is my knowledge. Aloha! Tim

Melissa,
I just heard about the passing of your Dad, and wanted to tell you that you are in my thoughts.
Although I only met you while caring for your dad during the last month, I know you were such a devoted daughter. You did everything you could to make sure your Dad was well cared for and I am sure he knew that in his heart. Take care of yourself and your family.

To Melissa, Gina and all other family members. I'll always remember that great smile your dad had, it could light up a room. I'm also glad we got to visit with him last summer just before we left for Florida. It brought back a lot of old memories. I know that you will all miss him and that he is up there some where checking in on you all the time.
