Ethel Baxter Obituary
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kamphaus. She has lived in Cumberland since 1962.
Mrs. Baxter worked for the Department of Defense in Washington D.C. where she met her husband.
She was very active in the Arnold Mills Community including the Arnold Mills United Methodist Church; she was a member of the Cumberland Garden Group and also was involved with the local Bridge Groups.
She has been a wonderful mother and wife.
Besides her husband she leaves one daughter Barbara Fadden of Hopedale, Ma., one son William J. Baxter, Jr. of Saunderstown and one grandchild Anna Baxter.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln, with Services in Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Arnold Mills Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation, 2348 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
