I never knew he passed away until I was looking up who my pediatrician was to tell my friend. Why I saw this my heart went straight out to the family. I was his patient and adored him and Yasigian very much. I told everyone to bring their children to them. I was sad when he retired but loved that Yasigian stayed until September 1, 2017. They to me are the best pediatricians I've came across in my life. I send my deepest sympathies to the entire family.
Much love,
Megan Site (Ladebauche)

Dear Dr. Yasbak, I just learned with big sadness of your passing away. Thank you for defending like a warrior the cause of autistic children and trying to find the cause and writing so beautiful acientific articles. I had the chance to talk and write a lot to you in 2005 for our research. You were so wise and struggled to defend the children until the end. Nunca lo olvidaré. Jamais on vous oubliera. Vous êtes un héros!

I was so sad to learn of Dr Yazbak’s passing. He was the first doctor who encouraged us to fight for healing, while others advised us to accept what was. Dr Yazbak was open to possibilities, where others were closed; he was a beacon of hope that inspired a miraculous journey of healing, for a family that will forever be grateful. His star will forever shine bright.

My heart is broken to learn of the passing of my dear friend, Fou, one of my favorite people in the whole world and a great doctor. The last time we spoke, he invited me (again) to visit. I'm so sorry I was not able to do so. And just last week I emailed him, checking in. Rest in peace, wonderful man. Love, Sandy

My heart, prayers, & thoughts go out to all of Fouad’s children, & extended family.
I will always remember our “beach weeks” on Cape Cod, when my late husband (Pharmacist) would take Fouad
fishing on our boat “MedicineMan” ( 2 peas in a pod, happy as can be !), while Maureen & I took long beach walks,
sharing our lives, our joys, and our friendship.
I grew to know “Dr.Yaz” at the hospital when he encouraged me ( Microbiologist) to join the “Infectious Disease” and “Chart
Review” Committees, where we shared ideas, knowledge, ( and yes, laughter too). I miss them both & offer my deepest
condolences to their beautiful family. Know that you were all loved SO MUCH! God Bless. love, Irene Girard

I'm so sorry to the Yazbak family, our sympathies to all. I met Dr. Yaz when I was 3 he was our pediatrician. He was funny and you always felt safe with him. I loved his pipe! Was his patient until I was too old and big to fit in his waiting room chairs. Became friends with Kathy and the rest of the family and always felt a part of the family between Dr. Yaz and Mo they were loving and welcomed all into their home. Now they are in peace and together. He shaped my life and always cared for our family. Will miss you my friend! XO

Dear Yazbak Family -- Please accept our sincere sympathy on the passing of the patriarch of the family, Dr. Fouad Edward Yazbak. Linda and I were fortunate to have known Fouad for many years. There was no one kinder than Our Good Friend. Fouad's intellect was second to none. (What a wonderful writer he was.) And the love story between Fouad and Maureen was truly inspiring to us.

My deepest condolences to Kathy, Phil, Gene, Eddie, and all Fou's family and grandchildren. Fou was our family's pediatrician and I recall him coming to my house and sitting with me one night when I got croup and frightened the babysitter who was caring for us. Fou stayed and took care of me till my parents got home. Another time, I had an accident that left me with a very swollen face. We went to see Fou at his home, and he gave me a big chocolate apple, each slice wrapped in foil, which I shared with Kathy. And of course, the whole family was our favorite people. Every summer for several years we enjoyed being next door neighbors at the Cape, fishing together, playing on the beach, and being co-conspirators in all the ensuing escapades while our parents mostly ignored us - even though I was always charged with taking care of the littler kids, I can honestly say those were some of the best fun we had as kids. Such a great, loving example was set by both Maureen and Fou. He will be missed. Mom also sends her condolences to all of you. Big hugs, dear Yazbak's.

What an amazing man and father to a terrific family. His reach extended beyond his stellar pediatric practice to all who knew him. Many fond memories in Sunapee, NH. Ah, and the food he introduced us to, some yum and some not as much. Sincere sympathy to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Fu was the best of the best. May he rest in peace and once again embrace your beloved wife, Maureen.

It was a wonderful privilege to work with Fouad on SBS cases, and to discuss many different medical topics with him in emails and over skype. The last of his sort of medical generation - a man of honesty and integrity to whom the truth meant more than policy. A rare breed. We will all meet again, one day.

What a wonderful man! He was so kind and patient. When my baby had severe colic and screamed for 12 hours every night, he never waivered in his advice whether I was crying in his office , or meeting me in the ER. He would say.."
"Mama, it's going to be okay, this will pass, I promise!" " Go home, have a glass of wine" He would call me at night to check in...He was an amazing doctor! Even though he wouldn't take her for the 4 colic months He was right, it did pass. Beautiful tribute, surrounded by so much love, a very lucky man indeed!

April 21, 2021
Our four children were very fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring pediatrician from 1964-1990. He was recommended by the obstetrician who delivered our first born. There was always a feeling of sadness when each child left for college and a new physician had to be found for that child. He didn't care just for the children but the parents as well. A week after my sibling died of an unexpected heart attack, one of our children had an appointment with Dr. Yazbak. He asked how I was doing and recommended I get a stress test (which I did) as a precautionary measure for me. The McKenna family sends our prayers and sympathies. May all these wonderful tributes that were written here comfort you in your loss. Now he and your mom are together again.

To all the family of Dr. Yazbak:
During these difficult times, may you be comforted by the many stories of the lives your beloved touched. In 1993, as nervous new parents, our son had his first cold. Dr. Yazbak answered our call and listened to our concerns. He asked where we lived and when he found out that we were around the corner from his home, he told us to “bring that little boy to me” and so we went to his home. After a quick visit, he informed as that our Adam was perfect and to take him home and rest assured he would awaken well...which of course he did! What a special, loving man that we were fortunate to have in our lives. His was a live well lived and we consider ourselves fortunate to have been touched by him.

Fouad assisted my family a great deal when they came to the United States and I will always be grateful. What a wonderful gentleman with a world of knowledge not in just medicine but anything, everything. He was kind and humble enough to explain and share his knowledge with anybody interested in any subject t in such a friendly manner. During the two short years that I knew him he treated me like a guest, not as a caregiver as he did to anyone that walked in to his home to visit or to help him. His smile and sense of humour and the will to be independent even when not in good health never ceased till the very end. My deepest sympathy to all members of his family as he will be remembered with happy memories.

Dr. Yazbak was so compassionate and trustworthy. A brilliant physician but at the same time very easy to talk to. He always made me feel like I was handling new motherhood perfectly! The remarkable story of this beloved doctor completely escaped me until this notice came to me through his doctor son, Phillip. That son is well known to me and a source of enormous pride, my having been a part of his training in Neurosurgery. It is clear now exactly why "my" Yazbak grew to be the people-person leader, and accomplished doctor that he is today.......just like his dad.

Dear Dr Yazbaks family, I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. He was an amazing pediatrician who took exceptional care of me as an infant. Born prematurely and only 3pounds 6ounces it was not expected I survive. He and his wonderful staff tended to me and all of my childhood sicknesses and I am so very grateful.
Now grown to 50+ years old (would rather not count them anymore) with 5 beautiful children I can truly say it is because of him I am here to be their mom. A few years ago after the adoption of my youngest I sent a letter to Dr Yazbak explaining my life’s journey and how thankful I was for his efforts as a pediatrician . I’m so happy I had the chance to share my thanks with him. What an amazing man he was...to his family my heartfelt sympathies and prayers. What a great man he was...I can recall him gliding his office stool over to assess my needs and hope he continues his compassionate patient care in the heavens above.

Another grateful mom who was privileged to have the family's pediatrician's home phone # for emergencies! Kind loving, caring and Christ- like, Dr " Yazzie" as he called himself, also made a house call to my asthmatic brother in the 70's, unheard of today! In Dr. Yasigian and associates we saw so much of his generosities and principals, very thankfully. He truly made the world a better one and your loss is ours too. God rest and keep his beautiful soul. We picture him and his lovely Maureen revelling over the Nile.

I was able to continue on as a patient well into my teen years. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. The world has lost a shining light for sure.

Dr Yasbak was my children’s pediatrician. Such a wonderful and caring man. He would speak terms of endearment in French to my kids because of their French decent. I would ask what was wrong when I got to the office with them and he said I don’t know, you are the momma You tell me what is wrong. I was so sad to leave his care when we moved to the south. My sisters also went to him for their children. My nephew who is 38 sent me this obituary, Dr Yazbak was his Dr as well. May you Rest In Peace, Dr Yazbak; they don’t make Drs like you or Dr Farrelly anymore.
