Dear Family of George Barker,
We were saddened to learn of George's death. We are The Compassionate Friends of Providence, a support group to help families---parents, grandparents and siblings --- with the death of a child. If you would like to get in touch with us, we can be reached at: www.tcfprovidence.com.
My son Cameron was killed in an auto accident thirteen years ago and this wonderful group has helped me immeasurably.
We are thinking of you and send
our most heartfelt condolences.
Most sincerely,

Brother, I will miss you. As I remember all the good and the bad times we experienced while working together at Maximum Security, I will always remember fondly, your friendship, your humor and your encouragement. You lived the words, duty, honor, country, in your daily life. Rest in peace dear friend.

I can count on one hand the number of influential people that have come into my life to shape me to be the person that I am today. I feel that I have the distinct privilege to have known Sensei George. He was a good person, exceptional instructor and most importantly a great friend. He will be SADLY missed.
