Mary Corey Obituary

COREY, MARY T. (McKEON), 92, of Glastonbury, CT, formerly of Lincoln, RI, wife of the late Arthur Franklin Corey, died Wednesday March 29, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Born July 13, 1913 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Francis E. and Irene (Madden) McKeon, she had lived in Glastonbury since 1990. Prior to her retirement she was secretary in the Religious/Biblical Studies Program at Providence College in RI.

She leaves her son Arthur Francis Corey and daughter in law Annette (Mohan) Corey of Glastonbury, CT, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two nieces Maureen Oberg, Anne Staples, two nephews John and Kevin McCabe.

Funeral service will be Saturday April 1 at 11:45am from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm in St. Patrick & St. Anthony Church, Hartford CT. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, South Glastonbury, CT. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY March 31 from 4:30-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Glastonbury VNA, 969 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury or to the Glastonbury Volunteer Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 453, Glastonbury 06033.
