My darling I hear you crying
your tears upon my cheek,
Your arms like wings caressing me
each word a struggle to speak.

The injury that comes with parting
the hour we know not when,
Genuine happiness the binding root
the joys of family and friends.

Shed a tear for happiness
for it is happiness I've come to know,
For all that we have shared on earth
my heart has found it's home.

Love is all, it's all about love
I have seen it's beauty and truth,
I have lived and I have loved,
and it's all because of you.

I know that we will meet again
spiritual wisdom tells me so,
I'll hold you close within my arms
and never let you go.
In every breath the words "I love you"
the treasure that lies in time
If you believe as I believe-
Love never says goodbye.

I worked with Ralph in the Cowling and Fairing shop at Quonset Point in the 1960's and he was one of the nicest, kindest person one would meet. I remember when he got married to a girl from Courtland Street and I think her dad owned a barber shop on Vinton Street in Providence. I lived on Tell Street and he and I would always talk about Federal Hill and all its characters. He will be missed.

I worked with Ralph on the A4D line at Quonset Point in the late 50s and early 60s. He was a very pleasant fellow to work with. He was always calm and considerate of others. I have not seen or spoken to him since 1962, but I have often thought of him. All of the fellows he worked with would tell you the same.
