Stephen DeANGELIS Obituary

DeANGELIS, STEPHEN, P., 53, of Whipple Avenue, died unexpectedly on March 15, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne (Sousa) DeAngelis. Calling hours will be held on Thursday March 24, 2011 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 25, 2011 in St. Luke Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 10 am. www.wrwatsonfuneralhome.com.

To Steve's family i grew up with steve, attending barrington junior and senior high schools. I remember playing street hockey with steve behind the elementary school across from your house. He and I played hockey for bhs with Steve going on to be the starting goalie. My regret is that i lost contact with steve as he was a great person and a great friend.

Suzanne and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing... and quite shocked as well. I'm sorry this message is coming so late, but I only just found out.

Steve was always one of my most favorite Ferguson friends... he was always there for me and I hope I was always there for him. He has been in my thoughts often since I moved away... I am so saddened that he is gone.

I worked with Steve for several years and was very sorry to hear of his passing. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Steve had a great sense of humor and a strong commitment to his family. I haven’t seen Steve in years but when I think about my Ferguson years, he is among my fondest memories. I am sure you will miss Steve as I have missed working with him. He was a real gentleman. Please accept my sincere condolences.
