Zoe Kazianis Obituary
passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. She was the wife of the late Chris Kazianis. Born in New Bedford, MA she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Psarakis) Marshallis.
Zoe journeyed to Europe during the winter of 1954 where she met her husband in Greece. They married in April 1955, six months later they returned to the United States. Zoe is survived by two children, Arthur Kazianis of Ipswich, MA and Leah Violet and husband Dr. Ernest M. Violet of Jamestown and three grandchildren, Ernest, Alexis and Gregory Violet. She was the sister of Olga DiChiara of Providence and the late Louis, Theodore and Nicholas Marshallis and Dorothy Kazianis. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Zoe was devoted to her children, grandchildren and extended family. She was a member of the Philoptochos Society at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. VISITATION Tuesday 4-7 p.m. at "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston.
