David E. Poper

David E. Poper, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the South Mountain Restoration Center.
Born June 20, 1953, he was the son of Harry C. and Ruth Stottlemeyer Poper.
David was an avid sports fan, rooting for the NY Yankees, NY Giants, and the Steelers.
Surviving are three siblings, Harriet I. Witherspoon (husband Quinn) of Chambersburg, Esther K. Poper of Chambersburg and James C. Poper (wife Wanda) of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg. Online condolences may be offered on his Book of Memories page at
