Wayne A. Gayman, 81, passed away at his home on February 22, 2017. He was born July 5, 1935. Wayne was a dairy farmer most of his life and a member of the Old Order River Brethern Church.
He was the son of Harry and Catherine Gayman and was preceded in death by his wife Lillian (Zullinger) Gayman. He is survived by five children, Sharon and husband, Melvin Rock of St. Thomas, Gerald and wife, Jane of Shippensburg, Darrel and wife, Carol of Orrstown, Kevin and wife, Faye of Orrstown, Donna and husband, Jason Wadel of East Waterford; 28 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren; two brothers, D. Eugene and wife, Evelyn of Chambersburg, Glenn and wife, Eunice of Chambersburg.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Portico River Brethern Meeting House with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Bro. Kenneth Myers, Bro. David Heckman, and Bro. Laban Burkholder will be officiating. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Portico Meeting House, 5501 Fort McCord Road, Chambersburg, 17202. Interment will be held at Brechbill Cemetery following the service.
