I am so sorry to hear of Mr. States passing. He was the second one I met from the BB55 battleship. My father George SaBell served on the same ship. Even though they did not know each other, Mr. States and Fred Veltrie became very close friends with my family and my mother who also passed away this year in January. I like to think they are all in heaven together.
