Michael Mastro Obituary
Michael Mastro passed away August 15, 2015 in Torrance, California. Mike was born January 9, 1924 and lived in Los Angeles before moving to Torrance. He leaves behind his wife of 69 years, Teresa, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his three children Maryterese Harbaugh, Joe Mastro and Clare Alvarez and sister Phyllis Macchia. Mike was very proud of them and his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Visitation is Friday August 21, 2015, 6:00pm, with a Rosary following at 7:00 pm, at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach. Mass will be at Holy Cross Risen Christ Chapel on Saturday August 22, 2015 at 9:30am. Burial services to follow at the cemetery. Mr. Mastro is a big part of my childhood memories. He always had a twinkle in his eye and some wise comment to get me laughing. He called me Pasquale. He was a kind and loving man. It's been years since I saw him, but I will never forget him. Blessings on Mrs. Mastro and all her children and grands.

We have lost a very dear man! Long time SouthBay Athletic Club member. Always smiling when he took our lunch money, for years. A great sports fan..even though he sometimes rooted for the wrong? teams..not mine, but nicely. Love to Teresa.

Dear Uncle Mike, will miss talking to you on the telephone from time to time. You were so dear. You have always been such a gentle man. I still remember how wonderful it was for you and Joe to come to my dear Carl's service. I will keep Aunt Teresa in my prayers. Until we meet again dear uncle, much love. Clara
