Many fun memories with Tommy through Dana & San Pedro High. Weekends working at the fish market to earn a little money to play arcade games. Tommy was a character and to this day I can't hear an Ozzy song without thinking of Tommy and the way he sang crazy train. We all had long hair and carried a heavy plastic comb with a handle hanging out our back pockets. We skated all over SP and burned so many calories that our group of 4 where skinny stick figures. Life is not supposed to include losing our children. To Tommy's parents, Dorene & Tommy Sr, may you find comfort to know you raised a great son that is loved by so many people. Forever in my memories,
Joseph

Tommy grew up three houses from mine. He was a wonderful, sweet kid. My son Dirk always called him "Big Tom" because he was small. Tommy loved being called that and always smiled when Dirk said it. Everything else about him was BIG, especially his heart. He was taken away from us too soon. May his memory be a blessing.

All those in Heaven are having a lot more fun now. Their gain is our loss. All the best to the many he made smile. We are grateful we were able to meet Jr. and his wonderful extended family.

Going Up!
I Am going up to the mountain,
Walking all the way to the top,
Never looking behind me because I might just stop!
I'm reaching the crest and what do I see?
It's Jesus Christ cross waiting for me!
I bow down before Him because I'm not worthy to stand!
He reaches before me and places His cross into my hands,
Jesus telling me to carry it high so everyone can see!
You see it's the least I can do for Him,
Christ died for me!
Never looking behind me because it's all but past!
Just looking forward to spending time with my Savior!
From now till time everlasting.
Hallelujah!!!
This poem is dedicated to

To my dearest Godfather, Tommy and all of your family:
Our hearts are so saddened by this loss of Tommy Jr., and I say this on behalf of so many of our family members and dear friends who have expressed heartache to us all. Tommy Jr. will be in our hearts and memories forever and we certainly lost him far too young. Tommy, you have been an exemplary father and it shows in the life your son lived. All of my love to the Amalfitano family, you are all in my heart and I will be there by your side to celebrate what a beautiful son, man, and father that Tommy Jr. was. Love you so much!

I worked with Little Tommy all through my teen years at the market. He was always such a hard worker and never played the family card to get out of work. He had an infectious laugh and you knew you´d have a good shift if you were working with him. He had a huge smile and a head full of curls. He was just such a nice guy. I am so sorry for the family. I know this is such a big loss.

It´s been many years since I saw Tommy. From school to working with him at the fish market a couple times. He was always a great friend and Almafitanos have always been a great family. Everyone I know in Pedro has been affected by Tommy and your family. My heart and prayers to you and I hope that your legacy will continue with your sport leading the way.
