Deloris J. Miller
May 6, 1938-June 26, 2022
EAST MOLINE-Deloris J. Miller, 84, of East Moline, passed away Sunday June 26, 2022 at her home, in the loving care of her husband Roy.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday July 1, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to St. Jude's or Unity Point Hospice.
Deloris was born on May 6, 1938 in Bismarck, Illinois, the daughter of William R. and A. Lurene (Rosnett) Drollinger. She married Roy L. Miller on June 20, 1959 in Fairmount, Illinois.
Deloris had been employed at the 2nd National Bank, Danville after graduating high school, she later worked for Ace Trucking, Rock Island. Most recently she had been a clerk with Milan Auction Services for more than 15 years and helped various auction services around the Quad Cities.
Mrs. Miller enjoyed taking care of her family, traveling, and auctioning with Roy.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; daughter and son in law, Lisa and Dennis Acker, Reynolds, Illinois; a sister Shirley Holladay, and brothers William (Buck), Ronald (Pete), and Daniel (Danny) Drollinger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lurene; and a sister, Dorothy.
The family wishes to thank the Dean Miller Family, the Burkamper Family, and the staff at Unity Point Hospice for all their help, kindness, and support.
