November 10, 1933 - February 5, 2025
Donald E. Timm, 91, of Moline, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline with military honors conducted by Vietnam Veterans of America. Memorials can be made to the family.
Don was born November 10, 1933, in Moline, the son of Werner and Mary (Roeland) Timm. He married Shirley R. Gray on November 19, 1955, in Moline. She preceded him in death on March 22, 2009.
Don served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He then worked at John Deere Parts Distribution Center, Milan.
He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps and he enjoyed dancing.
Survivors include his sons, Tom (Gail) Timm, Moline, and Jerry (Cindy) Timm, Moline; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Geraldine Gideonsen, Clinton, IA.
