MOLINE-Hunter R.P. Hostens, 24, of Moline, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 in Rock Island.
Private services were held at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Hunter was born July 12, 1997 in Moline, the son of Lonnie and Jill (Pickett) Hostens.
Hunter graduated from Moline High School. He enjoyed fishing, basketball and spending time with family.
Survivors include his parents, Lonnie and Jill Hostens, Moline; sisters, Marissa Hostens (John Livingston), Port Richie, FL and Allisyn (James) Dekezel, Colona; brothers, Nicholas Harris (Janette Alexander), East Moline, Eric Hostens, Davenport and Ian Hostens (Amber Davis), Reynolds; maternal grandmother, Kathy Pickett, Moline; paternal grandparents, Jeff and Karen Hostens, Sherrard and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George Pickett Jr., Robert Fredrickson and Kenneth "Twister" Helmers.
