MOLINE-Justin W.C. Dawson, 34, of Moline passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at his home of natural causes.
A graveside service will be 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Moline Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be to his family for a fund to be established. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family with arrangements.
Justin was born on July 11, 1988, in Moline, the son of Marshall and Lexi Preslar Dawson. He was employed as a courtesy clerk at Jewel in East Moline where he was very proud of his work. Justin loved watching YouTube and playing video games. He took great pride in his man cave and loved going to movies with his grandma. Justin loved his dog Bodhi. Justin was known for being gentle and thoughtful and he was truly an awesome and wonderful person.
Survivors include his mom and dad; paternal grandma, Mary Hast; maternal grandparents, Roger (Paula) Preslar and Jan Butcher; aunts and uncle, Lori Borkgren, Wyatt Butcher, Cerise Seay and Tammara Clemons; many cousins including a special one, Karly (Tate) Buller.
Given that Justin was most comfortable in shorts and casual clothes, the family would like to encourage all those attending to wear attire that Justin would love.
