SILVIS-Rose Marie Sacco, 93, of Silvis, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 11am, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline with a visitation 1 hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Anne Church, East Moline or Rock Island Vicariate Food Pantry.
Rose was born March 14, 1930 in East Moline, IL, the daughter of Camiel and Margaret (Hendricks) DeCapp. Rose married John B. Sacco on September 6, 1947 at St. Mary's Church, East Moline, IL. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2018.
Rose enjoyed crocheting, crosswords puzzles and reading. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Richard) Flowers, Columbia, MO, Janet Sparks, Port Byron, Peggy (Paul) Mall, Overland Parks, KS, John (Theresa) Sacco, Silvis and Laurie (Dave Sheer) Donovan, Nolensville, TN; grandchildren, Amber Cochran, Kelly Askew, Amanda Flowers, Bryan Sparks, Erin Sparks, Adam Mall, Andrew Mall, Tony Sacco, Nick Sacco and Katie Donovan and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Drew and Cole Donovan; brothers, Don and Joe; special niece, Cheryl Callison, and son-in-law, Gary Sparks.
