William J. Tucker Jr.

July 12, 1947 - July 20, 2025

William J. Tucker Jr, 78, of Cleveland, Ill., passed away July 20, 2025, at Mercy One Genesis East in Davenport.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday August 1, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday July 31, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Moline Memorial Park with military honors. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center or your favorite charity.

William was born on July 12, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of William Jesse and Muriel (Purvis) Tucker Sr.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Jessica Tucker, Cleveland; son, Anthony (Fiancée Michaela) Ochoa, Tenn.; sister, Muriel Michele (Vinton II) Stanfield, Texas; and brothers, Tommy (Wendy) Tucker, N.Y., John Tucker, Wis., and James (Astrid) Tucker, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by both parents; his brother, Michael Tucker; sister-in-law, Catherine Tucker; and three dogs, Zeb, Missy and Lucy.
