Cindy L Buranek
July 30, 1957-April 1, 2021
Our beloved sister, proud mother, and adored "Yama" to her grandchildren, Cindy L Buranek (Wilson) of Cape Coral, Florida passed away from pancreatic cancer at home with her daughter, and sisters by her side. Cindy was born on 07/30/1957 in Moline, IL to Darlene J Wilson (Carss) and Robert D Wilson both deceased.
Those who knew Cindy with her snarky sense of humor can appreciate that she most likely had a say with our Heavenly Father on passing over on April Fools Day, so that we all will smile, and never forget her. She would be right. Cindy was a gifted and published author, Annie Sloan Stockist instructor, and furniture maker. She was also a free spirit with a gypsy's soul. She told us that she loved the artistic lifestyle she had chosen, but her greatest love, and legacy was her daughter.
Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Buranek. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Holowell (Rollins) and spouse Isaac; her grandchildren, Miles & Marley; her eight siblings, Bonnie McNeill (Michael) Naples, FL, Dean Wilson (Sharon deceased) London, OH, Terri Grail, Diane Haines (James), Donald Wilson (Tracey) Cape Coral, FL, Jackie Pfister (David) Bonita Springs, FL, Dale Wilson (Jill) Moline, IL, and Doug Wilson Punta Gorda, FL.; her beloved dog, Moose; and many nieces and nephews including grand nieces, and nephews. Cindy also had a kindred bond with her lifelong friend Kathy Werning, who was always there for her.
Cindy was under the excellent care of Hope Hospice of Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations be made in her memory to donate.hopehcs.org.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at her request on her birthday in Cape Coral.
