DAVENPORT-Deborah (Debbie) K. Strawhacker, 73, of Davenport, died Friday April 14, 2023 at Genesis Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday April 19, 2023 at Halligan–McCabe–DeVries Funeral Home followed by funeral services beginning at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Debbie's greatest love was for her family and friends. When her boys played sports she could always be found on the sidelines cheering them on. She loved being very social and enjoyed camping. She gathered frequently with her friends at the old Rusty Nail, where she met her husband, Everett. Debbie was also very crafty and enjoyed gifting her items to friends and family.
Debbie was born December 2, 1949, in Davenport a daughter to Dwight F. and Betty M. (Turf) Williams. She graduated from Davenport West High in the class of 1968. She gave 25 years of service at the Rock Island Arsenal. Debbie married Everett Strawhacker in 1984. They enjoyed several trips to the Caribbean together.
Debbie will be lovingly missed by her husband, Everett Strawhacker, Davenport; her brother Dwight Williams, Blue Grass; her sons Terry Pribble, Davenport; Chad Strawhacker, Davenport; Todd Strawhacker, Davenport; 4 grandchildren (Cody and Zach Pribble, Ryan and Maddalyn Strawhacker); 2 great-grandchildren (Peyton and Atlas Pribble) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Dwight and Betty Williams, her brother Bruce Williams, and son Jay Pribble.
