John Robert Miller

October 12, 1987 - April 1, 2025

John Robert Miller, 37, of Muscatine, IA, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his home.

There will be no services at this time. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

John was born on October 12, 1987, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Craig and Barbara Unger Miller.

John worked for the Muscatine Power and Water family for almost eight years. He graduated from the University of Iowa with an English degree and furthered his education for software development. He was a very active Boy Scout in Davenport, IA, earning the honor of Order of the Arrow and the title "Life Scout".

John was an avid Cubs fan. John was also very active. He enjoyed biking, even training for RAGBRAI and the Bix. John had lots of amazing camping trips and visited the White House, with his Boy Scout Troop. He also enjoyed computer and online gaming.

Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Craig and Barbara Miller; brother, Scott Miller; aunt, Susan Unger; uncle, Steven Unger; and dear friends.

John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Unger.
