Steven D. Ploog
October 18, 1959-August 12, 2022
PRINCETON-Steven D. Ploog, 62, of Princeton, Iowa, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in McCausland Cemetery in McCausland, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family.
Steve was born October 18, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Duane & Rosanna (Gilbert) Ploog. He was retired from Kindlesperger where he was a truck driver. He enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and enjoyed going for drives to look at the crops. Steve will be remembered for always having a good sense of humor.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughters and sons-in-law, Brianne & Jeff Wenninger of Hampton, Illinois and Peggy & Nick Bruno of Clarence, Iowa; his grandchildren, Bryce, Brody, Brooklyn, Brandon, Nicholas, Hannah, Emma, Skyler, Kayden and Kyle; and his good friend of many years, Carrie Ploog.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
