Thomas Moench Obituary
October 10, 1980 - October 15, 2024
DAVENPORT, IOWA - Funeral services for Thomas "Tommy" Steven Moench, 44, of Davenport, will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Family will greet friends on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Thomas passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his home in Davenport.
Thomas was born on October 10, 1980, in Davenport, the son of George and Laura (Wellmeier) Moench. He graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1999. He worked for Parker-Hose as shipping manager for 16 years. His pride and joy were his sons, Riley James and Logan Thomas. He was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed his trip to Canada, Missouri with his dad, his brother, Gus and Don Stewart. He also enjoyed hunting. He was a member of Big River Conservationist and enjoyed a beer and jokes with family and friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his sons, Riley and Logan; his parents, George and Laura Moench of LeClaire, Iowa; his brother, Gus and sister-in-law, Catie Moench of Davenport; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
