DOLORES A. BOQUIST Dolores A. Boquist of International Falls, Minnesota, died Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Rainy Lake Medical Center. She was born on September 15, 1929, in International Falls, the daughter of Norman and Gladys (Crawford) Mellum. On May 6, 1950, Dolores was united in marriage to Allan Boquist. They made their home in rural International Falls. Dolores was a lifelong member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in International Falls. She was active there in the quilting group, Alter Committee, and teaching Sunday School. Dolores enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, and puzzles. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Gladys; husband of 70 years, Allan; brother, Donald; and son-in-law, James Peterson. Dolores is survived by her daughters, Lorene Boquist of International Falls, and Vicki Peterson of Loman; grandchildren, Eric Peterson of Loman, and Abby (Robby) Rousseau of International Falls; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, Hannah, Alex, and Calyton Rousseau; sister-in-law, Elsie Boquist of Big Falls; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 1:00 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church in International Falls. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Loman, MN.
