Grace Blecha Obituary

RAPID CITY - Grace Marie Blecha, 4, of Rapid City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at her home. In March of 2006 she was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor. Gracie was born on November 6, 2002, to Terry and Crissy (Jaderston) Blecha. Grace loved to play with her brother Jacob and her best friend Molly. In December of 2006 she got her wish to meet Cinderella on her Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World. In her four short years with us, she always spoke her mind and was full of life. She loved to go to Storybook Island, feeding the ducks at Canyon Lake, and going to the lake with all her cousins. She's now dancing in Heaven and is our own Angel. We will miss her dearly. Grateful for sharing in her life are her parents, Terry and Crissy Blecha; her brothers, Jacob (5 yrs.) and Connor (11 mo.); her maternal grandparents, Steve and Jane Jaderston, all of Rapid City; her paternal grandparents, Don and Bernice Blecha, of Osmond, NE; her Uncles and Aunts, Brenda Hartmann, St. Paul, MN; Rick and Sue Joyal, Rapid City; Roger and Laurie Lewis, Hot Springs, SD; Joe and Debbie Blecha, Kansas City, MO; Ray and LaDonna Rowden, Springfield, IL; and her 16 cousins. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thur. April 12, at Serenity Springs Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Fri. April 13, at South Canyon Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Rapid City. Donations can be made to Grace Blecha's donation fund at U.S. Bank. You may send your condolences to the family at www.serenityspringsfuneralchapel.com.

Although we have moved from our house there on Ave A corner, I can still see little Gracie skipping down the side walk. She was a little fireball and boy did she have a lot of love in her little time here! So sorry--your former neighbors, the Rothbauers

Our hearts go out to you. We have a granddaughter named Grace and she is one month younger than your Grace. She also loves to feed the ducks and is a huge fan of Cinderella. We truly feel your loss for another reason and that being that I recently lost my father to cancer and my husband has lost both of his parents in the past 3 years, one of them to cancer. We will keep Grace Marie and your family in our prayers. God Bless you all.

Terrry, Crissy & Family:

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Grace's wish granters shared that she was a special young lady. We are so glad she got to experience a "wish come true" and made her wish trip to Walt Disney World. The Make-A-Wish family is keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
