Sometime after both of our husbands passed away Rita invited me to go on a cruise with her in honor of there passing and to celebrat there lives. Needles to say i was stuned.

by her kindness and generosity . I acepted her invitation after the monthes of preparation and joyful anticipation we set out on amazing voyage. We were in the dinning room she was sitting nextw to big window leaning her head there holdong her cell phone against the window screen facing the beautiful site of the ocean sun and sky . I asked if she was ok she turned the phone around it was a picture of Jack in his overalls and that huge smile on his face she some how wanted to share it with him she was sad that he missed this time I feel priveledged t and honored she chose me to be withher to share this time with her . Thankyou Rita for the memories never to be forgottenwith love and appreciation for your presence in my life

Marie, Scott and for ALL of Rita's loved ones...I only met Rita a few times and she seemed to be a sweet and gentle soul. Seeing all of the kind remembrances that people are sharing, the loss is certainly mine in not knowing her better. I pray that you are comforted by your faith and your memories of this vibrant and loving Mom, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. I hold you all in my prayers.

My twin sister was such a fun, playful sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister-in-law. There aren´t any words to describe how much I miss her. I think of her everyday and know that she is with Our Lord Christ Jesus in Heaven. She was such a fearless believer in God and prayed to him all the time. My twin sister was the oldest, but I have always thought of her as my little sister. I miss you so, and know that you are with Our Father in Heaven, let it gives us all comfort and peace.

Rita had such a beautiful and kind nature to her. It did not matter what walk of life you came from, she cared for you and respected you. She did not have to say she loved you. You felt her love for you, with out any words being spoken. Out of all the friends Nikkee had, Rita seen something different in me, then the rest. A positive, free spirited heart; that we both shared. I'm great full for the opportunity to witness not perfection, because no one is perfect and we all have our issues, but a level of gratitude for life in how she treated the world she lived in. The way she pushed through life with her golden smile that was contagious. Rita you will be missed, but never forgotten. I'm honored to be able to be in her life for the short time I was. I learned from Rita and will take these lessons to be a better human being. Not just for other people but all of life.
