"Tink" as he was known to his friends and family grew up in Millmont/Reading
Pennsylvania, and moved to Snellville Georgia with his family in 2000.
He passed away at age 63 on January 27, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Anthony graduated from Reading High School. He was in the construction industry at Ernst Concrete as a truck
driver until retiring in 2016. Anthony was the loving
husband of Sandra Distasio.
He is survived by his sons, Nicholas Distasio and Alex Distasio; daughter, Amber Distasio; and sister, Terri Distasio and her children, Matthew Distasio and Toni DiNorscia.
Anthony loved gardening and watching football and cheering for his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Our memories of Tink will live forever in our hearts.

Terri & Nancy so sorry for your loss. All I i can think of is all the good times we had growing up. Played so much basketball with Tink, but, driving to and from the games were priceless. The news of his passing is so so sad.

You talked to me about your condition and all I could do is listen in a I can't believe it way.You called me from your hospital bed and we cried together. We were kids growing up on Hazel Street. We were Philadelphia sports fans. You were good in all sports and you'd let it be known. Wilt the Stilt Distasio, Flash Distas, How many people could do the Tarzan call and your whistle could break a glass. 5'7 and all but ripped the basketball rim down. When I would hear white men can't jump well they didn't know you. We talked about the past and laughed a lot but when you told me I was the man for doing things right in my life I knew we brothers from a different mother.Rest in Peace my friend as the tears roll down, I'll miss you and yes I Love You Man...My neighbor, my friend, my brother, my best man.....

Please, accept my sincere condolences. Tink was a great inspiration to many young athletes in the southwest Reading area not only for his dedication in keeping physically fit, in that we might aspire to be so, too, but for his incredibly positive attitude about life. One could not only think to oneself what strength of purpose and endurance it must have taken for him to be so physically fit, but I don't think I can remember a single time he was ever anything other than upbeat and smiling; always smiling and gregarious. The world is going to miss one of the truly good guys to ever walk this earth. This is how I remember him, and I am thankful for having met him.
