Tuesday, June 13, 2017 of natural causes at his residence.
Born in Reading on March 20, 1959, the son of Klaus F. Koehn, who survives, and the late Barbara (Boyer) Grumbine. He was also the stepson of the late Russell Grumbine.
He was a 1977 graduate of Wilson High School.
Carl last worked for the City of Reading in the Codes
Enforcement Department.
He was a volunteer fireman with the West Wyomissing and Reading Fire Departments, was a member of Cushion Peak Rod & Gun Club, a member of the Blue Moon Hunting Lodge and the Delaware Surf Fishermen.
Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and racecar driving.
He is survived by his companion, Deborah A. Palm, with whom he resided; two sons, Zachary J. Koehn and Tyler L. Koehn; a daughter, Samantha L. Koehn; a stepson, Ryan N. Palm (Tasha); a brother, Kevin L. Koehn (Crystal); a
nephew, Bailey A. Koehn; two stepgrandchildren, Sophia and Julia; and his furry companion, Georgia.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville, with Pastor Keith Yeager officiating. A
visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cushion Peak Rod & Gun Club, 180 Vinemont Rd.,
Reinholds, PA 17569, or to Zoe's House Pet Rescue & Adoptions, P.O. Box 2372, Reading, PA 19608.
