Clifford Dry

1938 - 2023

Clifford W. Dry, 84 of Wyomissing, PA passed on January 9, 2023 at the Reading Hospital. Born June 2, 1938 in Reading, PA. The son of Clifford D. and Viola (Hechinger) Dry and the husband to the late Carolyn E. (Williams) Dry. Clifford was a 1956 graduate of Wilson High School and was a US Army Veteran. He worked at Royal Crown Bottling and ARCO before finding his home at Bell Telephone and AT&T for 25 years. After retiring, he opened his own business: The Dry Connection, for 9 years. In 2000, Cliff and Carol moved to Punta Gorda, FL until 2015. Cliff moved back to PA and resided at the Highlands of Wyomissing, with his partner Doris Incantalupo. Clifford was a member of the West Lawn United Methodist Church. He loved playing sports and was a huge Philadelphia fan. Cliff, aka Sonny or Clippy, enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. He is survived by 2 children, Jeffrey S. Dry husband of Tina Dry, Sinking Spring, PA and daughter DeAnn C. Kemmerling wife of Matthew Kemmerling, Kill Devil Hills, NC and sister in-law to Kathleen (Williams) Tomey, Brickerville, PA. Clifford was predeceased by wife Carolyn E. (Williams) Dry, brothers Richard and Robert Dry and sister Phyllis Krick. A Celebration of Life will be held at West Lawn United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 18th. Visitation will begin at Noon, with Services starting at 1 PM. Comfortable attire encouraged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cliff's name to CLL Global Research Foundation.
