She was the widow of Dominic J. Chieffo.
Born in Douglassville, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Sr. and Margaret (Pachuilo) Baro.
She was a school bus driver for Boyertown and Daniel Boone school districts for over 50 years. Betty was a safe driver and loved the children.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Betty loved the Lord, her church, music, singing, dancing and animals.
She is survived by a son, Michael Chieffo, Pottstown; daughters, Patricia Will, Douglassville, and Helen Louise Varady, Boyertown; brother, Jesse Baro Jr., Douglassville; sisters, Gloria, wife of John Aulenback, Birdsboro, and Grace, wife of Joseph Hoover, Spring City; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers: Angelo, Gabriel, Lawrence, William and Anthony Baro; and sister, Carmella Gerber.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown. Burial in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 316 High St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
