Eric Wenrich Obituary


Eric C. Wenrich, 52, Cumru Township, formerly of Sinking Spring, died Oct. 20, 2009, at 7:07 p.m. in Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy J. (Mohn) Wenrich.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Raymond Wenrich of Sinking Spring and the late Carolyn (Fisher) Schonour.

He was a graduate of Wilson High School and Reading-Muhlenberg Vocational Technical School.

He was a machinist for Troutman's Machine Shop in West Wyomissing for 32 years.

He was a member of Reading Dove Christian Ministry Center.

He was a devoted father to sons Jason E., husband of Christel D. (Ludwig) Wenrich of Temple, and Stephen T. Wenrich, at home, and daughter Amber R. Wenrich of Cumru Township.

Also surviving are brothers: Frederick "Fritz" Wenrich of West Lawn, Bart Wenrich of Fleetwood, Darrell Wenrich of Wernersville and Derrick Wenrich of Maine; and sisters: Ella (Wenrich) Blankenbiller of Sinking Spring, Lisa (Phillips) Reynolds of Antelope, Calif., and Christy Davis-Zachar of Orwigsburg.

Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Fellowship Church, 622 Old Lancaster Pike, Shillington, PA 19607, with the Rev. Craig A. Nanna and the Rev. Raymond S. Sensenig officiating. Interment in Pleasant View Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice, 2166 S. 12th St., Allentown, PA 18103-4799 or The Eric Wenrich Benefit Account, P.O. Box 2063, Sinking spring, PA 19608 in memory of Mr. Eric C. Wenrich.
