Born in Stowe, was a son of the late Dominicoe and Stella Fosco.
Mr. Fosco enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after graduation and served as a gunner in England before World War II over Germany. He was shot down in Germany and was rescued by partisans. Mr. Fosco was then smuggled back to U.S.-held territory and sent back to Valley Forge hospital for treatment of serious wounds.
He used his GI schooling to open his own business and later trained for the police in Reading.
Mr. Fosco was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 9 in Reading and also Lodge 12 in Horry County, S.C. He was retired medically and moved to Surfside Beach, S.C., where he resided for over 38 years.
Upon arrival in South Carolina, he worked in real estate for 25 years and met many people with whom he was still friends.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Garden City, S.C.
Mr. Fosco was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Joseph Fosco; and a sister, Theresa Bowman.
Survivors include his wife, Stella M. Fosco; sister-in-law Jean Fosco of Myrtle Beach; a niece, Terri Calif of Boyertown; and a nephew, Jeffrey Fosco of Collegeville.
Memorial services will be private.

Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
