Jane Wiswesser Obituary

Jane Drasher Wiswesser, 73, of Gouglersville, passed away on May 23, 2023 at her home. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Isabel (Shanaman) Dobbins and was the loving partner and then wife of George A. Wiswesser, MD for 20+ years. She became a Psychiatric Nurse Specialist in Reading, Harrisburg, and Schuylkill counties, working with Dr. George Wiswesser, focusing on children and families. An avid reader of audiobooks, Jane loved gardening, birdwatching, taking care of the birds and fish in her pond, and the animals in their yard. She loved traveling with her husband, among their trips to Central and South America especially loved her trips to Ireland, Costa Rica, and cruising on the Amazon. She also attended multiple Psychiatric Conferences throughout North America. She was a lifetime member of the Flying Dutchman Ski Club, making many lifelong friends. Jane was a West Reading friend. I then got to see her in the Flying Dutchman Ski Club. Met her husband George. She was a very nice person.
So sorry for your loss George and family. R.I.P JANE
