Luke Preston Rathman Luke Preston Rathman, 29, passed away on February 10th at his home in Boyertown, PA. Born in the Reading Hospital on June 13, 1991, Luke is survived by his parents, Jeff and Marlene Rathman (Moore), and his sister, Kate, and her dog, Coco, of Pennside, PA. Luke is also survived by his two beautiful daughters, Mia Mae Charlesworth (mother, Melissa) and Violetta Rè Rathman (mother, Gabriella Homolya), and his best friend, Mark. Luke was last employed at R.M.H. Home Improvements and Repair Co., Douglassville. He graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 2009. He attended the University of New Haven, Conn., and Butte Community College in Chico, CA. After school, Luke worked with the AmeriCorps City Year program in Los Angeles, CA, then for the Conservation Corps in Escalante, Utah. Luke loved all things nature and was an expert captor of snakes and salamanders. He played the bass guitar and enjoyed listening to all genres of music, especially at live concerts and music festivals. Above all else, Luke adored his two little girls. He’s now up in heaven jammin’ with his buddy, Evan, and serenading Mia and Violetta. “Big fire, on top of the hill.
