Nicholas Nowotarski

1964 - 2022

Nicholas E. Nowotarski, 57, of Blandon, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, PA. Born October 30, 1964 in Reading, he was the son of Gerald Nowotarski, Oley, and the late Anna (Mikos) Nowotarski. He and his wife, Denise M. (Harpel) Nowotarski, were married on October 3, 1992 in Shoemakersville. Nick was a 1982 graduate of Oley Valley High School where he was named to the All County Basketball and Golf teams. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in finance from Albright College in 1986. At Albright, Nick was the Captain of the Varsity Golf Team. Nick worked for Akzo Nobel Coatings, Inc., Reading, for the past 10 years. He worked in quality and was currently the Continuous Improvement Manager. Nick enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and especially gardening. In addition to his father and his wife, Denise, Nick is survived by his two daughters, Emily A. Nowatarski and Alexis M. Nowotarski, by his two sisters, Anna Norton, wife of Christopher Norton, Collegeville and Nadine Solecki, wife of Daniel Solecki, Ambler, and by several nieces and nephews. A visitation for Nick will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood.
