Born in Lobachsville, he was a son of the late Lawson E. Behm and the late Sallie R. (Moyer) Behm.
He worked for Dana Corporation for 15 years as a machine operator, retiring in 1990. Prior to that, he worked as an oil burner service technician for William R. Gift in Boyertown. Paul was a life member of Boyertown Rod and Gun Club. He was also a member of the Liberty Fire Company in New Berlinville, Pike Township Sportsmen's Association and Gabelsville Athletic Association.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Paul was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oley.
Surviving are his companion, Thelma Bailey of Hamburg; one daughter, Merilee D., wife of Robert H. Weller, of Boyertown; one son, Michael A. Behm, husband of Kelly A. Behm, of Fleetwood; and two grandchildren, Bryan and Victoria Behm.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 325 Covered Bridge Road, Oley, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Robert R. Mitchell Jr. Burial will be in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville. A viewing will be held at 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the church on Thursday evening.
Contributions may be made in his memory to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 325 Covered Bridge Road, Oley, PA 19547. Arrangements are by the Morrell Funeral Home Inc., www.Mor-rellFuneralHome.com.

Michael and Merilee and family, we are truly sorry to hear of Paul's death and pray for all of you for comfort. Paul was a great friend and neighbor. We enjoyed our long conversations with him and will miss him dearly.
