Richard was a great influence on so many people both as a dealer and friend. It is a great loss to the antique world and to us.

Uncle Richard was one of the most knowledgeable people I ever knew. From local history in Berks County to our family history there weren't many questions he couldn't answer. He was kind, loving, and never without humor. I have many memories of him throughout my childhood - all wonderful. I regret not being able to visit with him in the last year. I will remember Uncle Richard always.

Dick was a warm and genous old "Dutchman". Entertained his friends with Pennsylvania German tales and stories. One of the last native Pennsylvania German speakers.

My condolences to Richard's family. I enjoyed many visits with Richard and attended some P O S of A events with him on occasion. He was a true Son of America.

Richard was a good, good man. He was loving, caring, kind, and thoughtful. He was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Our whole family is so much richer because he touched our lives. He's having ice cream with his friends in heaven now and he is smiling. Tom & Carol Foy
