He was the husband of Diane E. (Sell) Adams, whom he married 42 years ago on June 7, 1969.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Harvey F. and Mary E. (Beck) Adams.
He was a truck driver for Dart Container Corporation, Leola.
Robert was a devout Christian and was a member of Spring Valley Church of God.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters: Tracy L., wife of Mark Manning, Sinking Spring, and Tammy L., wife of Bill Griffis, West Lawn.
Also surviving are his brothers: Allen Adams, Reading, and Harvey Adams, Reading; his sister, Barbara Adams, Reading; and his stepbrother, Paul, husband of Doris Beck, FL.
Five grandchildren: Chris Berger, Alysa Berger, Rachel Kohl, Toby Kohl and Casey Manning, survive him.
A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
