Ronald E. Frederick

Ronald Earl Frederick, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away on November 26, 2023, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was the husband of Deloris J. (Heller) Frederick. Born on March 21, 1941, in Reading, PA, son of the late Warren E. Frederick and Irene M. (Yerger) Frederick. Ron was an active member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Rehoboth Beach , DE. His commitment extended to various affiliations, including Isaac Heister Lodge No 660, F&AM Scottish Rite, Rajah Shriners, Elk Lodge, and Knights Templar Commandery 42, where he served as Past Commander. Ron had been employed by Met-Ed, Reading for 36 years retiring as a supervisor. Beyond his community involvement, Ron was a dedicated member of the former Fleetwood Jaycees, contributing his time and energy to make a positive impact. His love for travel, leisurely walks, and enjoying meals with family and friends reflected his zest for life. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Deloris, his son Trevor K. Frederick and daughter-in-law Pam Frederick, daughter Rhonda B. (Frederick) Ulrich and son-in-law Daniel Ulrich, daughter Dennean K. (Frederick) Ludwig and son-in-law Kevin Ludwig, and sister Geraldine E. (Frederick) Rothermel. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to fourteen. He was preceded in death by his father Warren, mother Irene, sisters Joanne Hafer and Warrene James, and one great grandson. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Viewing on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM at Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood, PA. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at 11:00AM in Pricetown Cemetery, 23 Cemetery Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522.
