Ronald R. Klee, Sr. Ronald R. Klee, Sr., 83, of Temple, passed away May 16, 2021, at 10:52 PM in the Reading Hospital where he was a patient since May 1st . He was the husband of Barbara A. (Schmehl) Klee. They would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on June 6th. Born in Laureldale, he was a son of the late Wilson R. Klee, Sr., and Dorothea (Millard) Klee. He was a stepson of the late Sarah A. (Kloeffel) Klee. Ronnie worked as a baker for Bachman Bakeries for 15 years, then worked 21 years in the shipping & receiving department at U.S.M. Corp. (Molly) and lastly working 10 years as a custodian at the Muhlenberg School District, retiring in 2003. He always had a love for antique cars, owning a 1941 Chevy and a 1948 Ford. While raising his family, he was President of the Temple Recreation Board and Cub Master for Pack 147, Temple. He served as a Deacon and Elder at Christ Church, United Church of Christ. He enjoyed taking trips with his wife and served as President of the Klee Family Reunion. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons – Ronald R. Klee, Jr., husband of Kathy (Detweiler) Klee, Shillington, Terry L. husband of Lisa (Moyer) Klee, Sinking Spring, his sisters – Gloria M. A. widow of Johnny I. Althouse, Ontelaunee Twp., Charlotte L. wife of Paul P. Harter, Jr., Hamburg, his brother – Wilson R. Klee, Jr. husband of Pam Klee, Muhlenberg Twp., his grandchildren – Brett W. Klee fiancé of Alycia Benner, Middleburg, PA and Davenport, FL, Elizabeth A. Klee, Middletown, Jordan Klee, Conshohocken, PA, Dylan R. Klee, Gainesville, FL, twins – Madison Klee, New York, NY and McKenzie Klee, Chicago, Il, and his brother-in-law – Paul H. husband of Linda Schmehl, Muhlenberg Twp. There are also many Nieces, Nephews, great nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers – Kenneth, Richard, Bernard & Donald, his sister Deloris Althouse Eshbach and his sister-in-law – Joan (Schmehl) Keinard. Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 PM followed by his funeral service at 4:00 PM at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington.
