Scott Etchberger Obituary

Scott A. “Bubba” Etchberger Scott A. “Bubba” Etchberger, age 63, of Sinking Spring passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Susan K. (Blatt) Etchberger with whom he recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. Born in Ephrata on December 2, 1957 a son of the late William and Joan (Blimline) Etchberger. Scott attended Conrad Weiser High School. He was employed at Penske Buick GMC in Shillington as an Auto Mechanic for 38 years. He was an active long time member of the Fritztown Fire Company where he currently was serving as President and a former volunteer firefighter. He was also a life member of the Gouglersville Fire Company and a member of the Sinking Spring Fire Company. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Craig W. Etchberger fiance of Darlene and large extended family. Uncle Bubba will be dearly missed by his many nieces & nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00am at Zion Blue Mountain U.C.C., Strausstown. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00am at the Church. Inurnment will follow at Strausstown Cemetery. Cole Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Robesonia is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Fritztown Fire Company, 1060 Fritztown Rd., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Online condolences may be made at www.ColeFH.com
