Stanley Walter Jablonski

Stanley Walter Jablonski, 89, died October 6, 2022, in his Laureldale Borough residence. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John and Pauline M. (Boginski) Jablonski. He was the loving husband of Lorraine C. (Uczynski) Jablonski, with whom he shared almost 65 years of marriage. Stanley was a 1951 graduate of Reading High School. He was in the Plumbers Union Local 690 for 51 years, retiring in 1995. Stanley proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged as a SSGT. He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park, and a past member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Stanley was an avid woodworker, loved sports and was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Sixers, and Phillies and was a life member and past President of the Berks County Dog Training Club. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his four daughters: Karen A., wife of Dr. Marc Adelstein of Ft. Myers, FL; Johanna M. Jablonski of Laureldale; Debra L., wife of Patrick J. Hassler of Cumru Township; and Juliane Jablonski, wife of Frank G. Strauss of Philadelphia. He was preceded in death by his son, Stanley W. Jablonski, Jr., who died in 2003. Also surviving are his six grandchildren: Shannon Hassler, Dr. Alexa Neumaier, wife of Dr. Mackenzie Neumaier; Sidney Adelstein, Liam Hassler, Aidan Hassler and Analiese Hassler. Stanley was the last surviving of nine siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3139 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. A viewing will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow mass at Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
