To Walter, Richard, Billy & Bobby...Your mom employed me as babysitter circa 1953! You were great kids! Parker Rd. was a good place to grow up in those days. Glad you have done well. Marie had a good long life. I'm sorry for your loss. Anne Birdsey Ginns Penticton BC Canada

To Walter, Richard, Bill and all the Michalowski family my sympathy to you all for the passing of a lovely person. I remember your Mom and Dad enjoying a few cold beers at the Cloverleaf with my old friend Ted Swedock on our return to Meriden after playing squash at the Hartford YMCA. By the time we got to the Cloverleaf we were very thirsty and Walt was always there to talk to while we quenched our thirst. My thoughts are with you all.

Marie Michalowski was my Aunt. Although we have not seen each other in many years I have very fond memories of her from my childhood. I also worked with her at New Departure in Bristol. She would always remember my mother with a card at Christmas. Even though I have lost contact with most of my father's side of the family, I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to my cousins and their extended families. I'll always remember Aunt Marie as a gracious lady. I'm sure she will be greatly missed by everyone.

My husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say of Marie. We knew her through playing W11 at Ashlar Village and she was a good player and fun to be with.I remember meeting her in Stop & Shop and she had a very large bag of flour and I asked her "my Marie are you going to cook for an army"? Her response was "Oh No"I make perorgies for my family for the holidays. She did love being picked up by a family member every Sunday.....she surely looked forward to her Sundays and we will surely miss Marie here at Ashlar. The picture the family chose of Marie is wonderful she was a very pretty lady. Sincere condolences to all of her family. Ken & Jean Lewis
