During this time of mourning, I would like to express my sincere condolence at the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in persistent prayers, as “the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your heart and your mental powers.” [Phil. 4:7] I certainly hope that the help God can give at this time will make a difference.

Dear Cliff, Susie, Mike, Sharon, Billy, and your families,

Your Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma will be missed by many people because she touched the lives of many, many people.

I had the pleasure of working with her for the years that I was at Nathan Hale, and we became good friends.

All the time that I was in Meriden, she and your Dad, were both very kind to me. You can probably remember me being at your house and having homemade pizza and other things that your Mom would make. There were many a good time around the table in your house, and it was all because of your Mom.

I was sorry to hear that she has passed, but I know that she is in a wonderful place and that she was a believer. I am sure that we shall all see her again someday. Until that time, live your lives the way that you know that she would want you to live, keeping fully in mind that she is always with you, as she truly is always with you.

God bless each of you, comfort you, and give you peace throughout the difficult days and holiday season ahead.

Sincerely and with love,
Kathy Gardner

I shall send a card to your Aunt Shirley Duffy, too.

To the family of Marylou Siering Carlson:
Marylou was a fine, gracious lady and classmate, whom I knew all the way back to our childhood in the 1930's in Pratt/Camp St. neighborhood (near Siering's Market.)
She was a loyal, dedicated member of the class of 1947 of Meriden High School - and a stalwart organizer of our many class reunions.
May she rest in peace, now - with God!
