His family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Conn., on Sunday, Nov. 22 (TODAY), from 3 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov, 23 at 10 a.m. directly at Most Holy Trinity. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the American Liver Foundation, 127 Washington Ave. # 9, North Haven, CT 06473; or to Memorial Sloan Kettering, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10065.

So much has happened since you have been gone and my only sense of security is knowing that you are trying to help me get through this but sometimes it seems impossible. Its our Favorite time of year again and summer is just about over, our trip to Vermont is coming up . I find it so hard to be able to really enjoy anything in life without you but I do try and I especially want the kids to look forward to and enjoy every moment because they deserve it and its everything you taught them. I can't believe it's your 54th Birthday today. I remember when you used to hang a banner every year on View St announcing your birthday lol. Spring training has started and the SOX look good for the upcoming season. Every time I watch the SOX play, ( which is every game lol), I remember that night in 2004 with you and Grandpa as we watched the RED SOX finally win that World Series. Three generations on the same couch sharing the moment. As great as it was to see the Sox win it was made perfect by being there with the two of you. I miss you greatly and daily. But when I watch a Sox game and I get that feeling of pride and nostalgia that we shared that night and in general, (not just as Sox fans but as a family), I know your still with me.
